In the yogic tradition wisdom leads to liberation, because it implies self-realization of the truth within. It is both, a spiritual quest and also the mind's ultimate achievement. Wisdom is understood as a wealth that all men must cultivate. A wise man is not only capable of liberation, but also equipped with the essential perspective to see his life and succeed in life. Without a good degree of wisdom the man will rather ignore or oppose the universal laws bringing suffering and failure to his life.
"There is nothing noble being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self"
- Winston Churchill
"The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positive"
- Bob Marley
"To enjoy good health, to bring true happiness to one's family, to bring peace to all, one must first discipline and control one's own mind. If a man can control his mind he can find the way to Enlightenment, and all wisdom and virtue will naturally come to him"
